When the discharge product is removed, the device returns the transferring current to a normal current value and after the friction factor of the surface of the body is made low by rotating the body by a prescribed number of revolution without performing the image formation to stick the lubricant on the surface of the body up to a suitable stuck quantity, the device performs normal image formation while applying the lubricant on the surface of the body (steps S101 to S107).
