    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately derive the address information even at narrow track pitch and to record information signals to a high density.
      SOLUTION: The recording and/or reproducing apparatus for recording and/or reproducing data to an optical disc which has a wobbled groove 1 and pits 2 formed at a pre-set interval in an area between turns of the wobbled groove. The recording/reproducing apparatus includes: a detection means which detects a tracking error signal of a push-pull system including a reproduction signal from the wobble and pit obtained when scanning a beam spot along the groove 1 and which consists of PIN diodes (A, B, C, D); a first filter 31 for detecting the wobbled signal from the tracking error signal; a second filter 33 for detecting a pit signal from the tracking error signal; and a pit pulse detection and interpolation circuit 40 for removing noise components included in the pit signal on the basis of a signal having a prescribed multiple frequency of a binarized wobble signal.

Moreover, first sampling pulses SP1 and second sampling pulses SP2 are formed by the clocks CK corresponding to the channel clocks and the recording data synchronized to the clocks CK.
