    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to find and estimate the indication of the deterioration in a reinforced concrete construction at an early period accurately, by overlapping the distribution graph of natural potential and the distribution graph of resistivity, thereby judging the corroded area of reinforcing steel. CONSTITUTION:One terminal of a potentiometer 1 is connected to a steel piece (m) in a reinforced concrete construction M through a conductor 2. The other terminal thereof is connected to a reference electrode 3. Then, the reference electrode 3 is brought into contact with each measuring point, and the average natural potential (value obtained by averaging the measured potentials in a typical range) of all the measuring points is measured, and the potential distribution graph is formed. Resistivities are obtained as follows: four electrodes 5 are inserted in the surface layer part of the concrete surface (n), where the natural potential is measured; AC is conducted across the electrodes on both sides; a voltage across the two inner electrodes is measured; and the resistivity is obtained. A resistivity distribution graph is formed based on the result. It can be determined that the distribution graph of the part, where the corroding range of reinforcing steel in the potential distribution graph is overlapped on the corroding range of the steel in the resistivity graph, is the corroding region, where breakdown strength of the reinforcing steel is decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out initial curing with excellent thermal efficiency and prevent occurrence of freezing damage, etc., at a low cost, by mounting platelike electric heating units on the outer sides of a form for forming concrete structures and controlling the concrete surface to a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:Platelike electric heating units 3 are mounted on the outer sides of form plates (1a) of a form 1 for forming a concrete structure using fixing metal fittings 6 and covered with heat insulating mats 4. A current is passed through the electric heating units 3 to generate heat and initial curing is carried out while turning ON or OFF a power source and automatically controlling the current so as to provide the surface of the concrete 2 cured in the form 1 at a temperature within the range of about 0-20 deg.C. Thereby, since heating of the whole structure is not required, equipment is simplified. Thermal efficiency is excellent due to direct heating to the form 1 and further the concrete structure having homogeneous properties can be produced with hardly any uneven temperature distribution of the concrete surface parts.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce cost of levee construction by lessening the construction time on site by making up the levee from a base ship, a king post provided on the base ship, a sheathing wall, and an inclined pile. CONSTITUTION:A base ship 6 which can be charged with water and drained is provided on a ship building base, a kind post 1 is erected on the base ship 6, a sheathing wall 4 is surrounded about it, and floating towers 7 and 7' are temporarily attached. In the first place, the base ship 6 and the floating towers 7 and 7' for settlement are evacuated to produce a buoyancy and towed on the sea to a construction site, the sea water is charged into the base ship 6, and base ship 6 is settled while balancing it bythe towers 7 and 7'. Then, a necessary number of base ship 6 units provided with such levee structures as the king post 1, the sheathing wall 4, etc., are set on the seabed in succession, the back side of the levee is embedded 15, and a calking 5 is applied to the head portion to complete the construction of revetment.
