    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet storage case in which an inner tray for use in storing the sheet-like item is prevented from being dropped off an outer case.
      SOLUTION: This sheet storage case comprises a tubular outer case 11 having both ends released and an inner tray 12 inserted into the outer case 11 to store the sheet-like item, wherein an engagement piece 17 having a stopper 19 with a wider width than that of a slit 38 arranged at this inner tray 12 is installed inside the outer case 11. The inner tray 12 is inserted into the outer case 11 and at the same time the engagement piece 17 is inserted into the slit 38 of the inner tray 12. When the inner tray 12 is drawn out of the outer case 11, the stopper 19 of the engagement piece 17 is engaged with the peripheral edge of the slit 38, so that the inner tray 12 is engaged with the outer case 11 and the inner tray 12 is not drawn off the upper end of the outer case 11. In addition, even if the inner tray 12 is pushed into the outer case 11, a shoulder part 40 of the engagement piece 17 strikes against the peripheral edge of the slit 38 and then the inner tray 12 does not come off from the lower end of the outer case 11.
