    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, base station device, user terminal, and radio communication method that can determine channel quality information adequately considering interference from a plurality of transmission points and the like.SOLUTION: A radio communication system comprises: a plurality of base station devices for transmitting a desired signal measurement reference signal and an interference measurement reference signal for measuring a channel state; and a user terminal for communicating with the plurality of base station devices. Each base station device includes: a determination unit for determining resources to which the desired signal measurement reference signal and the interference measurement reference signal are allocated respectively; and a phase control unit for performing phase rotation of a symbol of the interference measurement reference signal. The determination unit performs control such that the interference measurement reference signal is allocated to the same resource as an interference measurement reference signal to be transmitted by another base station device. The phase control unit performs control such that the symbol of the interference measurement reference signal has a different phase rotation amount from another base station device.
