摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile communication system in which connection time is shortened by transmitting/receiving a signal through a common channel for a mobile station in the vicinity of a radio base station, increase of interference is suppressed by setting an individual channel for a mobile station at the end of a cell, communication quality is stabilized by lowering the possibility of reaching the upper limit of transmission power, and increase of connection time is prevented.
SOLUTION: When communication is started between a mobile station 102 and a radio communication station 101, a radio base station measures transmission power, communication quality or use rate of a common channel for the mobile station and compares them with predetermined threshold levels. If the measurements are lower than the threshold levels, transmission/reception of signal is sustained through the common channel. If the measurements exceed the threshold levels, an individual channel is set and then a radio channel 103 is set such that transmission/reception of signal is sustained through the individual channel.
