SOLUTION: In the hot water heating device formed that a heat exchanger 11 for a hot water feeder and hot water terminal devices 2 and 3 are interconnected through a loop having a circulation pump 5, two-way communication is effected by the hot water terminal device and a control unit 8 of hot water feeder, and the number of revolutions of the circulation pump 5 is controlled according to the operation states of the hot water terminal devices 2 and 3. Further, in case the number of revolutions of the circulation pump 5 is increased, the number of revolutions of the circulation pump 5 is interlocked with the opening state of thermal valve 6 and the operation state of the hot water terminal device, and the rapid increase of an internal pressure in the loop is prevented.

SOLUTION: A plurality of terminal heat radiators A1-Aj are connected by a thermal valve and a circulation pipe to a heat source machine which is equipped with a heating circuit where water is circulated through a heat exchanger by the operation of a circulation pump. In trial operation before usual operation, the thermal valve 1 is opened to increase the number of revolutions of the circulation pump stepwise, and the relation between the pressure values and the flow values within the circulation pipes is obtained and stored in every increase stage. A pressure loss curve is obtained, based on the stored data. In condition that a new thermal valve is opened further, a pressure loss curve is obtained, and further the opening operation of the thermal valve and the acquisition of a pressure loss curve are repeated up to A1-Aj. The pressure loss curve with single operation of a terminal radiator being opened anew can be obtained by the comparison between both pressure loss curves obtained this time and last time. At usual operation, the operation control of the circulation pump is performed so that the flow may come to the flow conformed to the pressure loss curve corresponding to a driven terminal heat radiator.

In trial operation before usual operation, the system controls the operation of the circulation pump (S11) so that its number of revolutions is kept at a fixed value, and it outputs and opening command (S12) to the thermal valve being the target of check. Hereafter, it monitors any one value of the voltage value to the DC motor, the current value, the circulation flow value, and the pipe pressure value as the objective value of monitoring, and if the value is normal, it judges whether the specified fluctuation of the objective value of monitoring caused by the opening of the thermal valve increasing suddenly occurs or not (S13). If the fluctuation occurs, it judges and indicates that the valve has opened normally (S15), and if the fluctuation does not occur, it indicates an error (S18).
