    • PURPOSE:To reduce the development of spotting contamination on surface of a steel strip after annealing by arranging flowing passage of atmospheric gas at out of a furnace for again supplying the atmospheric gas once sucked to out of the furnace from heating zone or cooling zone into an introducing part of the furnace in the continuous bright annealing for stainless steel strip. CONSTITUTION:By again supplying the atmosphere gas into the introducing part 1 of furnace after once sucking the atmospheric gas to out of the furnace from the heating zone 2 or the cooling zone 3 by using booster 10 for atmospheric gas, the flowing direction 8 of atmospheric gas at inlet part of the heating zone 2 is made to the same direction as advancing direction 9 of the stainless steel strip 7 to be annealed to execute the continuous bright annealing to the stainless steel strip 7. By this method, the flowing direction 8 of atmospheric gas at the inlet part of heating zone 2 can be made to the same direction as the advancing direction 9 of stainless steel strip 7 to be annealed. Therefore, sticking of while powder developed in the heating zone 2 onto the surface of low temp. steel strip 7 before annealing at the introducing part 1 of furnace by being directly carried to the direction of introducing part 1 in the furnace, can be prevented.
