摘要： PURPOSE:To maintain the effect of heat insulation by projecting and providing a grate-like frame on a concrete base plate to be constructed on the foundation together as a unit to house an insulating material in the frame, and fixing a concrete holding plate on the frame. CONSTITUTION:A grate-like frame 2 is projected and provided on a concrete base plate 1 to be constructured on the foundation together as a unit, and after housing an insulating member 3 in the frame 2, a concrete holding plate 4 is fixed on the frame 2. The insulating member 3 is constituted of rectangular heat insulating materials 5 consisting of forming styrol and the like, a damp- proofing coating 6 such as a rubber asphalt sheet and the like and a water proofing coating 7. It is hard to melt the snow to be accumulated on the holding plate 4 and, at the same time, even if the function of the coating 6 and the coating 7 lowers, the heat insulating materials 5 are maintained in the frame 2. Accordingly, the excellent effect of heat insulation can be maintained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively and appropriately ventilate the holds of a ship, by providing each of plural decks with small holes for ventilation. CONSTITUTION:Numerous small holes 3 for ventilation are opened through each of the plural decks 4 which define the holds 2 in the ship 1. Ventilators 5 for the upper holds are provided on the uppermost hold 2a'. Ventilators 6 for the lower holds are provided on outside decks 10 at the bow and the stren. Ventilation ducts 9 are provided between the ventilators 6 and the lowest hold 2c'. The ventilators 5, 6 are driven to sequentially supply air into the upper and lower holds 2a, 2c and the medium hold through the uppermost and lowest holds 2a', 2c' and the small holes 3. In cargo work, the supplied air is discharged out of the ship through a loading part 11 of a loading deck 8. Out at sea, the supplied air is dicharged out of the ship by an exhaust ventilator 7. Thus, the holds are effectively and appropriately ventilated without numerous ventilation ducts.
