摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress clogging of a screen plate due to paste at the outermost peripheral part of the displaying region of a color plasma display (C-PDP) and consequently improve its continuous printability.
SOLUTION: In the screen plate 1 of the C-PDP as a mask having a pattern part with a predetermined continuous opening width, through which paste-like material is pushed so as to form the color filter and fluorescent body of the C-PDP, the in-plane distribution of a film thickness is uniformized by extending the pattern part 10 of the screen plate by at least predetermined length ΔS beyond the final cell of the displaying region and changing the opening width of the outermost peripheral part in the short sides and long sides of the displaying region narrower than the opening width B at the middle of the displaying region (or changing B to A, B to B' and A to A') in the pattern part 10 of the screen plate.

SOLUTION: The sheet 11 and the screen 9 sent out from a delivery roll 1 by an auxiliary roller 4 are moved in the direction shown by an arrow while held between a blur removing roller 6 and a squeegee 5 to bond the sheet 11 to the screen 9. The blur removing roller 6 is moved further to bond the sheet 11 even to one end 10a of a moving frame, and the sheet 11 is strongly bonded to the screen 9.
