The life of orthopositronium means the time from the formation of orthopositronium by the linking of positrons implanted into a substance to each electron in the substance to the vanishment of the orthopositronium. A composite reverse osmosis membrane having 1.2-4.0 ns life of orthopositronium is used and a soln. to be treated is led to the membrane and purified.

摘要： PURPOSE:To separate and recover an organic solvent vapor from a gas containing this organic solvent vapor by using a selectively permeable composite film wherein an active thin film is formed by crosslinking a silicone resin upon a porous support film. CONSTITUTION:A silicone resin, which has a crosslinking function due to, e.g., various reactive groups at the end of its molecular chain, with a porous support film made of polyimide resin etc. By utilizing this selectively permeable composite film, a vapor of an organic solvent such as hydrocarbon, alcohol, carboxylic acid ester, etc. are separated and recovered from a gas wherein this organic solvent vapor is mixed with water, nitrogen, oxygen, etc. This method does not necessitate such a cyclic operation as by an ordinary adsorption method with active carbon, but enables a continuous operation, and is lower in costs of installation and operation as compared with an absorption method.
