    • PURPOSE:To make an indication accurate by inserting a piston into wax materials which change in phase at different temperature through elastic films and obtaining the movement extent of the piston based upon pressure corresponding to the extent of the cubic expansion of both wax materials in the form of variation in resistance value. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of engine cooling water rises up to, for example, 60 deg.C, the 1st wax 21 starts changing from the solid phase to the liquid phase and then expands in volume. The pressure is applied to the piston 24 through elastic films 26 and 27 including the 2nd wax 22. The movement extent of the piston 24 appears as the extent by which a contact 28 moves in contact with a slide resistor 25. The resistance value of the slide resistor 25 varies and a current corresponding to the varying resistance value flows from a terminal 4 to indicate the water temperature on an instrument 9.

    • PURPOSE:To display a station name accurately, by comparing broadcasting frequency data stored for every region with receiving tuning means, which is provided independently of a receiving tuning means provided for listening to radio broadcasting, and reading out a station name corresponding to discriminated region data and a receiving frequency under listening from a memory and displaying this station name. CONSTITUTION:Receivable broadcasting frequency data and data of broadcasting station names corresponding to broadcasting frequencies are divided by preliminarily divided regions and are stored in a memory 13, and a receivable frequency is detected at a channel selecting operation time by the receiving tuning means which is provided independently of the receiving tuning means provided for listening to the radio broadcasting, and this detected receivable frequency data and broadcasting frequency data stored for every region are compared with each other in a region discriminating circuit 16, and the broadcasting station name corresponding to discriminated region data and the radio receiving frequency under listening is read out from the memory 13 on a basis of the comparison result and is displayed on a display device 15.

    • PURPOSE:To make easy the switching of reception sensitivity, corresponding to the status of electromagnetic wave reception producing difference at night and day, by switching the stop sensitivity of the automatic channel selector for receivers with on/off signal of a light switch for car. CONSTITUTION:The automatic channel selector for receiver consisting of an antenna 1, tuning circuit 4 and amplifying circuit 5 is provided with a stop sensitivity switching circuit 2 consisting of a capacitor C1 and a resistance R1. This stop sensitivity switching circuit 2 is inserted to a reception circuit with ground with a good electromagnetic wave reception at night to decrease the sansitivity with lower level of antenna input VO. Further, a switching transistor 6 is connected to the stop sensitivity switching circuit 2. By controlling the transistor 6 with a light switch 7 which is connected to a car light 8 and a battery VB, the switching to a low sensitivity at night strong in the electric field and a high sensitivity at day, can easily be made.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the recognition property of an alarm car speed, by performing the change-over display of the alarm car speed set in place of car speed data on a speedometer at the setting time of the alarm car speed. CONSTITUTION:Setting switches 1a-1d for setting an alarm car speed on the basis of '0' and '1' codes and a set/reset switch 1e for setting and resetting the alarm car speed are provided in a switch module 1 setting the alarm car speed. The signals from the switches 1a-1e and the car speed signal (a) from a car speed sensor are inputted to a control module 2 and the output of the module 2 is given to a chime 3 and a speedometer 4. The module 2 compares the set value of the alarm car speed set in the module 1 with the actual car speed on the signal (a) and, when both of them coincide, the chime 3 is driven to emit a car speed alarm and, when the switch 1e of the module 1 is subjected to set operation, the set value of the alarm car speed is subjected to change-over display on the speedometer 4 in place of the car speed. By this method, the recognition property of the set display of the alarm car speed can be enhanced to a large extent.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent broadcast reception state by suppressing a decrease in sound volume due to high-cut operation when performing the high-cut operation by detecting the lowering of an electric field level or the generation of echo distortion during reception. CONSTITUTION:If the lowering of an electric field level or the generation of echo distortion occurs during FM broadcast reception, that is detected by high-cut control circuit 8 and high-cut circuit 9 operates to attenuate the high-frequency signal level of the detection output of FM detector 4 according to the lowering of the electric field or the magnitude of the distortion, thereby attenuating a noise component included in the high frequency range. The output of circuit 8, on other hand, puts sound volume control circuit 10 in operation to energize relay coil 11, thereby changing over its contact 12. Consequently, the FM detection output attenuated by a resistance is inputted directly to stereo demodulator 5 without passing through resistance R, so that signal level is increased on the whole to obtain an excellent reception state.
