摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which has a long life and is excellent in resistance to scattering, acoustic properties, and torque characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises 70-80wt.% at least one base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C of 8-180cSt and selected from the group consisting of a mineral oil, a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, and a polyphenyl ether oil and 20-30wt.% lithium salt of a 12-24C higher fatty acid having no hydroxyl group in the molecule. The compsn. is scattered only in a very low amt. as shown in Fig. 5.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a grease composition for bearing of electronic computer having excellent noise and torque properties and scatterability especially at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION:A grease is imparted with a close and homogeneously stabilized short-fiber structure of soap by the grease composition compounded with a thickener consisting of a lithium soap having no hydroxy group in the chemical configuration and a lithium soap having hydroxy groups in the chemical configuration. A mineral oil and a synthetic hydrocarbon oil are used as the base oil. Thus obtained grease is capable of reducing its scattering in the range between ordinary and high temperatures and improving the noise and torque properties of a bearing.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the lubricating ability to reduce the degree of production of dust by encapsulating a lubricating grease which has a specified kinematic viscosity, contains at least one kind of base oil out of mineral oil, synthetic hydrocarbon oil, and metallic soap or urea-compound as thickening agent, and has a specified worked penetration. SOLUTION: Mineral oil, synthetic hydrocarbon oil, ether oil as base oils of a grease to be encapsulated, are individually used or mixed at an optional mixing ratio. As mineral oil, synthetic hydrocarbon oil, ether oil, highly refined oil from petroleum, polymerized oil, polyphenyl ether, are preferable. As base oil, the oil having the kinematic viscosity of 8 to 460mm /s at 40 deg.C, is used. When the kinematic viscosity is less than the value, the oil tends to vaporate, and when the kinematic visicosity exceeds the value, friction torque is increased, and the degree of occurrence of dust is also increased. As the thickening agent, the metallic soap or the urea-compound is used, and the grease with reduced worked penetration produces less dust. The upper limit of worked penetration of 300 is favorable. Thus, the lubricating ability can be enhanced, and the degree of generation of dust can be reduced without requiring additional processing.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant compsn. which can impart excellent load-bearing and extreme-pressure properties to a part to which it is applied by incorporating an ashless sulfur compd. having a heteroatom other than sulfur into the same. SOLUTION: Any ashless sulfur compd. can be used if it has a hetroatom other than sulfur and has no metal atom. The compd. pref. has a polysulfide group, a dithiocarbamic acid group, or a 1,3,4-thiadiazole group. 1,3,4-Thiadiazole is an example. The amt. of the compd. added is varied according to the type of the lubricant compsn., and a place to which it is applied, etc.; for instance, the amt. is in the range of 0.3-20wt.% in the case of a grease for bearings. As a base oil for preparing a grease, a paraffinic mineral oil is used as the mineral oil and a poly-α-olefin oil is used as a synthetic hydrocarbon oil. The incorporation of a synthetic oil, esp. an ester oil or an ether oil, is pref. in terms of lubricity and lubrication life at high temp. and high speed.

Grease filled in the ball nut 20 contains 70-80% by weight of base oil consisting of at least one kind of oil selected from mineral oil and synthetic hydrocarbon oil, which are provided with a kinetic viscosity of 8-180mm /S at a temperature of 40 deg.C, and 20-30% by weight of thickener consisting of lithium salt of higher hydroxy fatty acid with C12 -C24 .
