    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the smoke and the dust by decomposing the picture element of a fluctuated image and differentiating the element after the picture elements of several sheets of images are moved and averaged and then deciding the generation of the smoke and the dust according to the level of the peak value drawn by the first order differential coefficient. CONSTITUTION:The transition of luminance of each picture element obtained by moving and averaging an image 1 whose specific viewfield is photographed by a camera 12 as the time passes is defined as 8 signal that can be differentiated to the lapse of time. This signal is differentiated with the time defined as an independent variable and the first order differential coefficient is obtained. Then the smoke/dust generation images are presumed when the rate of the number of picture elements where the peak value of the first order differential coefficient exceeds a fixed level is larger then the fixed value. Then an alarm is produced. Thus it is possible to quickly end surely prevent the generation of the smoke and the dust, to greatly contribute to preventing the air pollution, end to save the labor required for supervisory of generation of the smoke end the dust.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the height of a pass line to be constant, to enable the fine adjustment of a rolling reduction quantity and to improve the dimensional precision of a rolled material by using a two-way discharging fixed volume or variable volume hydraulic pump directly connected with a motor as the hydraulic press source and executing synchronous roll-down and/or synchronous roll-up with a hybrid actuator. SOLUTION: The rolling-reduction device 20 is provided with the hybrid actuator (driving source integral type hydraulic actuator) and arranged to each of the upper and the lower roll chocks 2, 4 at the right and the left sides in a rolling mill body l so that it is possible to execute the roll-down during rolling. In this rollingreduction device 20, a single-rod type double acting cylinder fixed to the rolling-mill body 1 is incorporated, and the two-way discharging type hydraulic pump directly connected with the motor, a liquid quantity difference absorbing circuit in the head side and the rod side at the time of working a cylinder and close type tanks for compressed gas and working liquid, are integrated. At the time of rolling, the feedback of displacing information of the cylinder rod is executed with a linear scale and this information is compared with an input positional command, and the input of the motor in the hydraulic pump is controlled to adjust the rolling reduction quantity.

    • PURPOSE:To find dust generation and smoking in an early stage by dividing changable images changing by sunshine, rain falling, etc., into image elements, differentiating the brightness for respective image elements, and comparing the differential coefficients in an analysis object area and the peripheral area. CONSTITUTION:A photograph instructing signal is periodically, for example every 15 seconds, sent by a periodic photograph instructing apparatus 11 and based on the signal, an image in a constant visible field in a plant is repeatedly taken once an every period by a CCD camera 12. The screen the image displayed thereon is sent to an image element dividing apparatus 21 and divided into 256 divisions in transverse direction and into 240 divisions in vertical direction and, as a sum, into 60,440 image elements and converted into signals, which are classified by 255 levels of the brightness of the image elements corresponding to the respective positions for them, that is real-time changable signals 22 of the divided image elements, and sent to a computing apparatus 25 which specifies the analysis object areas. Moving average 23 of respective image elements is calculated and the results are converted into signals which are able to be differentiated for respective image elements and the signals are differentiated by time. A determining apparatus 51 compares the alteration ratos of the differential coefficients of the analysis object area and other areas and in the case the difference is two-times or more, an alarm 52 is sent and a dust generation and smoking preventive emergency process 53 is carried out.
