    • PURPOSE:To increase burning efficiently of sintered material of ceramic honeycomb structure by inserting spacers between mutually opposing top and bottom faces of plural molded articles of ceramic honeycomb and burning. CONSTITUTION:Plural molded articles 2 such as two molded articles of ceramic honeycomb on a torch are placed in a vertically piled state in a direction wherein each inner passageway in the direction of high rigidity extends in the vertical direction so as to prevent collapse. Plural spacers 3 are inserted in a direction of making the direction of thickness into the vertical direction between mutually opposing top and bottom faces of the molded articles 2 of honeycomb, namely between the top face of the molded article at the lower side and the bottom face of the molded article of the upper side. Then gap is made between the mutually opposing top and bottom faces of the molded articles 2.
