摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a tyrosinase activity inhibitor, an antioxidant and an antimicrobial agent having excellent chemical stability, shelf stability and safety, containing orcinol derivatives. CONSTITUTION:A tyrosinase activity inhibitor, an antioxidant and an antimicrobial agent containing orcinol derivatives shown by formula I and formula II [R1 and R2 are group shown by formula III (n is 0, 1, 2 or 4 in the case of R1 and 0-4 in the case of R2)] such as 2-prenylorcinol. The compound is obtained by dissolving 2mol orcinol in 1mol prenyl alcohol while blending, adding 0.7mol condensation agent (e.g. anhydrous cobalt chloride) and reacting at 60-70 deg.C for about 2 hours under heating. The tyrosinase activity inhibitor, an antioxidant and an antimicrobial agent are useful as a cosmetic having excellent beautifying action on skin, useful for prevention of oxidation of foods, cosmetics and drugs, useful for antisepsis of foods, prevention of food poisoning or control of multiplication of skin microorganisms.

Although a living body (in an intact raw state) or dried substance of the fruit body can be utilized as raw materials for extracting the 'NINGYO-TAKE', a fruit body dried at ambient temperature or in the sun about 2-10 days and preventing putrefaction is preferably used.
