    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool with a boring depth regulation function in which a boring depth can be adjusted over a wide range and a regulation body can be easily attached to a desired position in a single operation.SOLUTION: A boring tool 1 with a boring depth regulation function includes a boring tool shaft body 5 and a regulation body 7 for regulating a boring depth. The boring tool shaft body 5 has engagement recessions 5c formed thereon at a plurality of positions different from each other in the shaft direction, and the regulation body 7 is externally mounted on the boring tool shaft body 5 in the shaft direction in a slidable manner at least along a region on which the engagement recessions 5c are formed. The regulation body 7 has an engagement protrusion 7b elastically biased, and when a rotation force is applied to the regulation body 7 with respect to the boring tool shaft body 5 in the reverse rotation direction of the boring tool 1, the engagement protrusion 7b engages with the engagement recession 5c and the regulation body 7 becomes fixed in a relative position. On the other hand, when the rotation force is applied to the regulation body 7 with respect to the boring tool shaft body 5 in the rotation direction of the boring tool 1, the engagement protrusion 7b engaged with the engagement recession 5c is released, allowing the regulation body 7 to be slidable on the boring tool shaft body 5.
