    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fillet welding apparatus capable of easily positioning the welding apparatus with high positional accuracy to a member to be welded.
      SOLUTION: The fillet welding apparatus includes: a guide rail 2 which is parallelly arranged above a square rod 101 that is horizontally arranged on a bottom plate 100; a running truck 4 capable of running along the guide rail 2; and a welding torch 5 positioned at the side of the square rod 101 and fixed to the truck 4. The fillet welding apparatus also includes positioning mechanisms 20 suspended from both the ends of the guide rail 2 and positioning the welding apparatus 1. The positioning mechanisms 20 are mounted at the lower surface of the guide rail 2 through each holder and include a positioning jig 25 having a recessed cutout part 26 that is slightly larger than the cross section in the axial direction of the square rod 101. The positioning mechanisms 20 have a first positioning means for moving the holder in the axial direction of the guide rail 2 and carrying out the positioning in the axial direction of the square rod and a second positioning means for carrying out the positioning in the lateral direction of the square rod at the recessed cutout part 26.
