SOLUTION: Preheated reducing gas 2 is supplied from a reducing agent supplier 14 through a reducing agent preheater 15 into a fluidized bed reaction furnace 17 and, on the other hand, preheated powdery iron ore 1 from a raw material supplier 11 through a raw material preheater 12 and file powdery iron ore 1 recovered with a fine powdery raw material recovering device 13 are supplied into the fluidized bed reaction furnace 17. Further, coagulation preventive 3 from a coagulation preventive supplier 16 is supplied into the fluidized bed reaction furnace 17, and the iron ore 1, reducing gas 2 and coagulation preventive 3 are reacted in the fluidized state to produce the iron carbide 4 and the resultant iron carbide 4 is fed into a cooler 19 together with fine powdery iron carbide 4 recovered with a fine powder product recovering device 18 and is cooled to a room temp. Then, since the coagulation preventive 3 collides against the iron in a necessary and sufficient probability, the colliding probability among the iron particles is remarkably reduced and the coagulation is prevented, and thus the reaction temp. can be sufficiently raised.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method and producing equipment of reduced iron which prevents the reoxidation of the reduced iron produced in a rotary hearth type direct reducing furnace. SOLUTION: In the producing method of the reduced iron, raw material pellets which is produced by mixing iron oxide powder and carbonaceous powder are reduced in the rotary hearth type direct reducing furnace 1 and the reduced iron produced in the rotary hearth type direct reducing furnace 1 is melted in a closed type electric iron-making furnace 14 and also, reducing gas consisting essentially of CO2 by-produced in the clased type electric iron-making furnace 14 is made to flow into just the front of a discharging part 3 for reduced iron pellet in the rotary hearth type direct reducing furnace 1. In such a way, the reducing gas by-produced in the closed type electric iron-making furnace 14 is introduced just before the discharging part 3 for reduced iron pellet in the rotary hearth type direct reducing furnace 1 which is easily brought into contact with oxidizing gas (O2, CO2 and H2O gas, etc.), to lower the partial pressure of the oxidizing gas near the discharging part, and the reoxidation of the high temp. reduced iron pellet is restrained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent unequal plating thicknesses and to improve the quality of a plated thin strip with a device for correcting the C camber of the steel strip in a plating liquid film wiping section to be used for continuous plating equipment and coating equipment for the steel strip. CONSTITUTION:The metallic thin strip 1 transported by passing the inside of the plating liquid is injected with the high-velocity gas jets from gas jet nozzles 3 for wiping the plating films near these nozzles 3, by which the excess plating liquid of the plating films sticking to the surfaces of the thin strip 1 is scrapped off. A C camber deformation is generated in the thin strip 1 near the nozzles 3 for wiping. This warpage quantity is detected by sensors 4 for detecting the warpage quantity arranged right above the nozzles 3. The magnetic forces of magnets 2, 2 for correcting the camber deformation are acted on the direction where the camber in this section is eliminated and the magnitude thereof, by which the camber of the thin strip 1 is corrected. Consequently, the specified distances between the nozzles 3 for wiping and the thin strip 1 are set constant in the width direction of the thin strip. The wiping effect is thus uniformized in the width direction and the plating films having the uniform thicknesses are realized.
