    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the rear structure of a truck reducing air resistance with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The rear structure of a truck includes a frame having a pair of rear posts 11, 11 erected at both side parts of the rear opening of a van body of the truck, and hinge parts 13 fixedly set to the rear posts 11 and turnably pivoting rear doors for opening/closing the opening. The rear post 11 is formed by joining an inner panel 20 positioned inside the van body to an outer panel 30 positioned outside the van body. The outer panel 30 includes a panel part 31 tilted in the side vehicle length direction with a front end 31a disposed along the outer face of the van body, and with a rear end 31b disposed in a tilted manner so as to be positioned at the more inner side from the outer face and protruded to rear of the rear door. The pin member of the hinge part 13 is disposed to rear of the rear door and to the outer side of the rear end 31b of the panel part 31 tilted in the side vehicle length direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the degree of design freedom of a valve system by improving chargeability with space saving in regard to a variable valve gear for an internal combustion engine.
      SOLUTION: The variable valve gear for the internal combustion engine comprises a rocker shaft 1 which is a shaft body supported to the internal combustion engine and provided to be changeable in the rotating angle to the axis; a pin member 2 disposed parallel with the rocker shaft 1 and changing a relative position to the axis according to the rotating angle of the rocker shaft 1; a first arm 3 abutting on a valve and supported in a swingable manner to the rocker shaft 1; a second arm 4 rotatably supporting, at one end, a cam roller 4a abutting on the peripheral surface of the cam while supporting the other end rotatably to the pin member 2, and swinging around the pin member 2 in accordance with the rotary motion of the cam; and a third arm 5 supported to the internal combustion engine, abutting on both the first arm 3 and second arm 4 and swinging in accordance with the swing of the second arm 4 to transmit the swing displacement of the second arm 4 to the first arm 3.

When the engine is stopped or when the engine is started, the first operating valve 18 and second operating valve 19 are closed, and also the third operating valve 20 is opened.

      SOLUTION: The variable valve gear 10 comprises a camshaft 28, a rocker shaft 22, and a rocker arm mechanism 26 transmitting the movement of a cam 30 of the camshaft 28 to the intake valve 12. The rocker arm mechanism 26 includes a first arm 14 driving the intake valve 12, a second arm 16, a conversion member 18, and a drive mechanism 24 rotating the rocker shaft 22. The first arm 14 is rockably supported by the rocker shaft 22. The second arm 16 is driven by the cam 30, and rocks with a universal joint section 40 on the rocker shaft 22 side as a fulcrum. As the second arm 16 rocks, the conversion member 18 is displaced to drive the first arm 14.
