摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna capable of constituting a non-cyclic sub array antenna array and suppressing a grating lobe.
SOLUTION: The array antenna 1 is provided with a plurality of sub array antennas 2 and 3 and the respective sub array antennas 2 and 3 are constituted of a plurality of element antennas 4. For the plurality of sub array antennas 2 and 3, respective plane shapes are the same as a Penrose tile, and they are non-cyclically arrayed on the plane. Inside the sub array antennas 2 and 3, the plurality of element antennas 4 are arrayed so that circles centering on the center positions of the element antennas 4 are in contact with each other and the circles are in contact with the outer shape of the Penrose tile.

By forming in such way, the asymmetric property of the offset parabola can be negated by the crossing deviation component of negative phase generated by the heteromorphic cone horn 2. Thus, by reducing the cross deviation component, it is possible to obtain an antenna system in which the lowering of the antenna performance can be suppressed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the measuring job by measuring variation in the length of a transmission line based on a reflected wave from a main reflector, a phase difference between a reverse spiral circular polarized wave signal and an input circular polarized wave detected utilizing a circular polarized wave of a radio wave. CONSTITUTION:A signal of a signal generator 8 enters a port 5a of a polarization coupler 5 through a directional coupler 7 as transmission signal 9a and then, a circular polarized wave generator 4, where it is released from a primary radiator as clokwise spiral circular polarized wave. On the other hand, a part of the transmission signal 9a is inputted into a phase detector 6 as reference signal 9c through the directional coupler 7. The signal 9a released from the primary radiator 2 is reflected with a main reflector 1 and radiated remotely, which makes it turn reversely to produce a counterclokwise spiral circular polarized wave by the reflection. A part 9b of the signal is outputted into a port 5b again through the primary radiator 2. The phase difference between the reflected signal 9b and the reference signal 9c shown the variation in the length of the transmssion line depending on attitude of an anttenna and the deformation thereof due to heat or the like by measuring thereof with a phase detector 6.
