    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect symbol timing in cell searching and determine the service frequency band of a base station, at the same time, in a radio terminal equipment used in a scalable bandwidth system.
      SOLUTION: A radio receiver 101 applies a radio reception process to each of all frequency bands that a base station device presents. A CP correlator 102 generates a correlation value profile with respect to the reception signal applied with a radio reception process. A correlation presence determining part 103 discriminates presence of correlation, based on the result of correlation value profile for each frequency band. A frequency band determining part 104 discriminates the service frequency band of the base station, by comparing the determining result for presence of correlation with a service frequency band determining table that has been incorporated, in advance.
