    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus and a transmission method capable of remarkably improving the inefficiency of operating states caused by utilizing the same frequency band without considering wireless systems whose operating specifications greatly differ depending on differences between communication modes even in the case of using each block of a transmission section in common for the wireless systems with the different communication modes.
      SOLUTION: A detection section 3 of the transmission apparatus detects an operating state of each block of the transmission section by checking test points 39 to 46, a mode selection section 2 receives a system operating signal 47 from a baseband IC1 to selectively output a mode signal indicating an operating mode, an operation control section 6 determines an operating condition adapted to the operating mode denoted from the mode signal 4 from the mode selection section 2 on the basis of detection data 5 from the detection section 3, and outputs control signals 7 to 16 for activating each block of the transmission section under this operating condition. The control signals 7 to 16 revise each block of the transmission section into the operating state adapted to each operating mode.
