      SOLUTION: In this fin and tube type heat exchanger 1 having a number of plate fins 2 which are arranged in parallel with each other at prescribed pitches for circulating the airflow among them, and heat transfer tubes 4 which are inserted into tube holes 3 formed on the plate fins 2 at prescribed line pitches and stage pitches in a state of being closely kept into contact therewith and in which the fluid is circulated, the plate fins 2 are provided with stage-direction crest portions 6 respectively between the tube holes 3 adjacent to each other in the stage direction, and flat portions 7 are formed on top portions of the stage-direction crest portions 6.

    • PURPOSE:To save time for the attachment/detachment and storage of a cover, and locally expose a desired position to a cold air by providing an air intake on the upper section of the case to cover a coldness accumulating unit and a cold air outflow opening to the lower section of the case and providing an opening/closing louver at the cold air outflow opening. CONSTITUTION:A slit interior air intake is provided to the front upper section of a case to cover a cool accumulating unit 3, and a long sideways cold air outflow opening is provided to the front lower section of the case 4. Louvers 7 which open/close the cold air outflow opening and rotate in normal and reverse directions around a horizontal axis 8 are provided in the cold air outflow opening. Hereby, interior air is prevented to flow inside the case 4 by closing the louvers 7 so that cool is prevented to be released from the cool accumulating unit 3. Therefore, the air intake and the cold air outflow opening are opened during cool releasing operation so that a nap room is cooled by the escaped cold air, and a driver's feeling is improved by exposing a local section only to the cold air without attaching/detaching a cover every time in cool accumulation/cool releasing operation.
