摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately measure the concentration of a sample even when the concentration is high. CONSTITUTION:The concentration and light absorption factor of a sample are found by irradiating the sample with a laser beam from an incoming port 2a (or optical fiber) after setting the sample in a casing 1 through a sample inlet 1a and generating pressure waves from the irradiated part of the sample by thermal expansion and, on the other hand, detecting the pressure waves propagated towards the periphery of the sample in the casing 1 with a pressure sensor 3 and fetching the detected signals by the sensor 3. When the concentration of the sample to be measured becomes higher, the incoming port 2a and an outgoing port 2b (or optical fibers) are brought nearer to the center of the sensor 3 to adjust the pressure received by the sensor 3 so that the pressure cannot drop even when the concentration becomes higher. Namely, the concentration of the sample is highly accurately measured even when the concentration is high by reducing the distance from the port 2a (or optical fiber) to the center of the sensor 3 so that the laser light can be sent to the front face of the sensor 3 at the time of irradiating the sample with the laser beam.

摘要： PURPOSE: To detect only the true opto-acoustic signal and to improve the detection S/N by receiving the signals of a piezoelectric element and a driving means, and detecting the specified time-delay signal. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical opto-acoustic cell 4b, whose central part is formed into an L shape, is provided. At both end parts, an inlet port 6 and an outlet port 7 are provided. Quartz windows 5 are also provided at both ends. Furthermore, a piezoelectric element 8b is provided at the end of the L-shaped split part. Then, liquid to be measured is introduced into the cell 4b, and a chopper 3 is operated by the signal of a driving device 2. The light (a) from a light source 1 is chopped and introduced through the window 5 by way of a mirror 12. The optical sound generated by the irradiation of the light is propagated in the liquid and reaches the element 8b. The element 8b detects the sound wave and sends the signal into a detecting means 9. The means 9 receives the reference signal from the device 2 and the signal from the element 8b, detects the specified time-delay signal (based on the propagating time) and outputs the signal into a signal processing device 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform analyzing operation under the state wherein a sample to be analyzed involving danger is shielded and separated by holding and arranging a sample injecting tool having a pipetter and a testing device comprising a titration container in a chamber which is separated with a partitioning wall. CONSTITUTION:The arm part of a robot 21 is made to extend so as to hold a sample injecting tool and moved on a sample container la so as to pick up the sample in the sample container 1a. Then, the robot 21 sequentially mounts, the titration container 6 wherein the sample is picked on the rotary plate of a titration-container turning device 7. Under this state, a distributing device 2b is started, and the specified amount of pure water or reagent is injected into the titration container 6. A titration device 8 is operated, and the liquid contact part is submerged into the liquid in the titration container 6. Then, the titration is performed. The result of the measurement is operated in a measuring-device controlling part and outputted. After the end of the titration, the liquid contact part of the titration device 8 is cleaned with pure water, and the titration is continuously performed.
