摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress leakage of lubricating oil by allowing oil throwing fins to perform mutually a pumping action to suck in dry air. CONSTITUTION:Close to the bearing 5 of a rotor 1, two or more oil throwing ring-shaped fins 9, 10 are furnished, mating with the peripheral surfaces of the rotor 1 from the bearing casing 3. Between these fins 9, 10, two ring-shaped bosses 7 protruding at the peripheral surfaces of the rotor 1 are arranged, and a dry air spply pipe 14 in communication with the space 13 between said bosses 7 is arranged at the bearing casing 3. Each boss 7 is provided with a number of grooves 8 running aslant with respect to the direction across the axial direction. According to this configuration, the two bosses 7 perform a pumping action, following the revolving rotor 1, whereby mixing of steam with the lubricating oil is prevented with satisfactory effect.

摘要： PURPOSE:To widely reduce the leakage of steam at high temperature with a large amount of heat from within a turbine and improve its steam consumption rate, by providing a steam supply pocket in a gland packing part of the turbine and feeding reduced temperature steam from a pressure reducing valve. CONSTITUTION:In a steam turbine, a rotor 1, casing 2, labyrinth packings 3, 4 and a packing steam receiver 6 are provided. A piping 7 is linked to a gland condenser. A pocket P1 located near the inside of the turbine in its packing band at the side of high pressure is linked to the intermediate stage of the turbine by a piping 8 to perform the recovery operation of heat. On the half way of the packing 3 located in the inmost side of the packing band at the high pressure side, a pressure balance pocket 9 for feeding steam is constructed. Steam from a boiler with a low amount of heat at its temperature lowered is fed to said pocket 9 through a pressure reducing valve 10 to equalize a pressure P0' of the lowered temperature steam almost to a pressure P0. In this way, the leak of steam at high temperature with a large amount of heat from within the turbine can be remarkably decreased.
