    • PURPOSE:To easily and safely perform inspection, by allowing a self-running truck equipped with a flaw detecting apparatus to run on a guide track attachable to a structure in a freely detachable manner through an electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:In the flaw detecting apparatus of the firing furnace wall of the boiler of a steam power plant, a guide track 2 is hung down in a state connected to cables cooperated with the winch mechanism above the boiler and a self- running truck 3 run by a drive mechanism is supported by the guide track 2 while the guide track 2 can further move vertically on the firing furnace wall surface 4 by the cables 1. An electromagnet 5 is mounted to the quide truck 2 in opposed relation to the firing furnace wall surface 4 and said truck 2 is made attractable and fixable to the firing furnace wall surface 4 while a guide wheel 6 is mounted to said track 2 for the sake of vertical movement. On the other hand, the self-running truck 3 is equipped with the flaw detecting apparatus and remote inspection is performed by a remote control apparatus 10. By this apparatus, various kinds of machineries can be accurately conveyed to a desired position and safety is also high.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to be able to perform the replacement of coal slurry in a short time and at low cost process by a method wherein a warm water adjusting valve is interposed on a warm water piping communicated with a fuel system. CONSTITUTION:An atomizer 1 is enabled to atomize a fuel to a combustible grain diameter, the atomizer 1 is fixed to a burner gun 2 in attachable manner. The burner gun 2 is composed of a fuel pipe and an atomize medium pipe, a fuel is supplied to the burner gun 2 through fuel pipings 5, 6 branched from mother pipes 3, 4 for supplying the fuel to each burner. Each burner valve 7, 8 is arranged on the fuel pipings 5, 6, further, a warm water main pipe 13, a warm water pipe 14 for each burnner and a warm water adjusting valve 15 are provided between a burner valve 7 of the fuel piping 5 and the burner gun 2. Thereby, the operation from a COM burning to a burner extinguishment is started at the warm water purge by closing the COM burner valve 7 and opening the warm water adjusting valve 15. During this operation, the atomizing valve 11 is normally opened, then the purge is finished. Meanwhile, when a heavy oil is used, the burner valve 8 is closed, a purge valve 12 is opened, thus, the purging is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To lower the height of a boiler by forming plural ash outlets at the bottom of a furnace by inclining the sloped surfaces of a front wall tube, a rear wall tube, and a side wall tube at angle above the reposing angle of ash. CONSTITUTION:An annular inlet tube gang 4 is provided at the bottom of a furnace. A front wall tube 51 is formed from the inlet tube gang 4 to constitute a horizontal face 11 and also the inclined face of the furnace bottom and the vertical face 13 of the front wall by rising. The rear wall tube 52 is formed from the inlet tube gang 4 to constitute a horizontal face 14 and also to the inclined face 15 of the furnace bottom and the vertical face 16 of the rear wall. Each tube at the central part enters horizontally the inside of the furnace to constitute a horizontal face 17, returns horizontally to the side of the furnace along the inclined face 18 to constitute the inclined face 18 at the central part of the furnace, and rises further to form the vertical face 19 of the side wall. The inclined faces 12, 18, and 15 of the furnace bottom are at angles above the reposing angle of ash, and the lower part of these inclined faces is led to an ash outlet 2 and an ash treatment apparatus 3.

    • PURPOSE:To form a plurality of flat fire balls by which diffusion mixture of combustion gas in a furnace and air is sufficiently carried out through effective utilization of a furnace. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of burners 120 are arranged on wall surfaces, facing to each other, of a boiler furnace body 101. By blowing pulverized coal-air mixture 110 and air 112 for a main burner in the direction of the tangential line to a virtual circle in the furnace body 101, a plurality of flat fire balls formed by flames 116 generated by two burners 120 facing each other are formed. Side air is blown at a high speed between a space between the flat fire balls and the space between a furnace wall surface and the flame 116. Air 113 is blown through additional air nozzles 114, arranged on furnace wall surfaces facing each other about a vertical line at the center of a plurality of the burners 120, in a state that the blow direction through the additional air nozzle coincides with the blow direction through the burner 120. When an amount of air through the burners 120 and side air is set to a value 0.5-1.0 times as large as the amount of fuel theoretical air, a furnace interior 115 positioned below a nozzle 114 part forms reduction atmosphere and NOX is decomposed.

    • PURPOSE:To miniaturize the size of a boiler, as well as to prevent the boiler from breakage by the burst caused by clinker, by connecting the inlet side of cooling pipes for a plurality of hoppers constructing the bottom of a furnace, to a coal economizer, and the outlet side to the piping in the peripheral wall of a furnace. CONSTITUTION:The bottom of a furnace is divided into several number of small hoppers 13, each one of hoppers 13 is connected respectively to an ash discharge port, and the tilt angle of a hopper is set to larger than the angle of repose of ash. In such a structure, the feed water from a coal economizer is introduced into the pipe 14 in the welded wall through inlet headers 12 at the bottom of a furnace, so that the temperature at the bottom of a furnace, that is the whole hopper structure, is kept low. The feed water, heated by passing through the bottom of a furnace, is fed into the peripheral wall 16 of a furnace through headers 15.
