    • PURPOSE:To reduce the entering of the outside air into the interior of a steam turbine and a gland steam condenser by a structure wherein an outside air exhausting pocket is arranged outside a pocket for mixture of sealing steam and the outside air at the steam tight sealing part of the team turbine. CONSTITUTION:A pocket A to lead the mixture (c) of sealing steam (a) and the outside air (b) to a gland steam condenser is formed by mounting packings 6a- 6c along a steam turbine rotor 1. A passage 1b piercing from the inner wall of a turbine disc 1a to a peripheral wall is formed by arranging an outside air exhausting pocket C outside the pocket A. As a result, the outside air b' entering from the exterior is exhausted through the passage 1b to the exterior. Accordingly, the entering of the outside air into the interior of a steam turbine and a gland steam condenser can be reduced.
