    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the control accuracy of the turning value of a vehicle in its low speed traveling mode by switching a 2nd control means to the 1st one which controls the steering value that is calculated from the target turning value in a low speed traveling mode and controlling the steering angle of the vehicle based on the output of the 1st control means. SOLUTION: A 1st control means 200 consists of a target turning value calculation means 201 which calculates the target turning value from the curvature of a traveling course that is detected by a camera 8 serving as a position detection means and a 1st target steering angle calculation means 202 which calculates a target angle corresponding to the target turning value. When the speed of a vehicle calculated by a turning value calculation means 301 from the outputs of the 1st and 2nd wheel speed sensors is lower than a prescribed level, the output of the means 202 is inputted to a steering angle control means 203 by a switching means 204. Meanwhile, the output of a 2nd target steering angle calculation means 303 is inputted to the means 203 when the vehicle speed is higher than the prescribed level.
