    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain mixed plastic of high purity by removing foreign matter such as rubber or hot melt from shredder dust.SOLUTION: A charging conveyor 112 charges shredder dust 101, which contains plastic pieces 102 and foreign matter 103 (rubber or hot melt), to the gap between a pair of mesh rollers (121A and 121B). A pair of the mesh rollers have metal meshes on the surfaces thereof and are rotated while holding the shredder dust 101. The foreign matter 103 is adhered to the metal meshes and the plastic pieces 102 fall without adhering to the metal meshes. A plastic recovery box 131 collects the plastic pieces 102 falling from the gap between the mesh rollers.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely recognize the fouling state of a protecting tube for an ultraviolet lamp, which state causes a reduction in output of the ultraviolet lamp, and also whether the ultraviolet lamp is normally operated or not, correspondingly to the use environment on the user side by placing an ultraviolet-ray transmission window in a sterilization unit having a water inflow port and a water outflow port. SOLUTION: This device has such a structure that a first ultraviolet-ray transmission window 12 is placed in a sterilization unit 9 having a water inflow port and a water outflow port, at a position right opposite to that of a second ultraviolet-ray transmission window 13 placed in a main body case 11 of the device, to surely recognize through the first and second ultraviolet-ray transmission windows 12 and 13, the luminous state of ultraviolet rays transmitted through a protecting tube 8. Therefore, when some impurities stick to the protecting tube 8 to reduce transmissivity of the protecting tube 8, the luminous state of an ultraviolet lamp 7 is cloudily viewed or can not be viewed and it is decided that the protecting tube 8 is fouled. Also, the fouling state of the protecting tube 8 can be monitored correspondingly to the use environment on the user side and the maintenance of the device can timely be performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform automatic washing of a filer medium by installing a lift pipe whose upper end is above the upper surface of an inner vessel in the center of the inner vessel filled with the filter medium and jetting out bathtub water from a nozzle to blow up the filter medium to remove wastes stuck on the surface of the filter medium. SOLUTION: A lift pipe 25 which has a prescribed distance from a jetting port 23a and is erected in an inner vessel 16 with upper end thereof being above the upper surface of the inner vessel 16 and for taking a filter medium 20 from a suction port 25a in the lower part thereof and withdraws it to a discharge port 25b in the upper part thereof is formed. Washing water is collected at a nozzle 23 and is caused to flow in and generates a jet flow to make an ejector 26 part at negative pressure. The filter medium 20 and the convection washing water are pulled in from the suction port 25a of the lift pipe 25 and is blown up in the lift pipe 25. The blown-up filter medium 20 is returned to the inner vessel 16 from the discharge port 25b, and the washing water containing SS content passes through a clearance flow passage 27b formed by a spacer 27a and the upper edge of the inner vessel 16 and flows in an annular flow passage 17 and flows out from a filter vessel.
