摘要： PURPOSE: To enhance productivity, vibration resistance, and shock resistance by forming a current collector by separating metallic lugs of a positive electrode and a negative electrode, bundling a plurality of lugs, interposing the lugs between conductors, then fastening them. CONSTITUTION: A non-conductive spacer 7 is interposed between lugs of a left side negative electrode and a right side positive electrode, and they are stacked. The spacer 7 is bonded to the lugs to enhance the workability. A plurality of lugs are stacked, interposed between metal pieces 48, 19, caulked with a rivet 4, thin the tips 18', 19' are welded. A metal rod is welded to the metal pieces 18, 19, and a negative electrode and a positive electrode are separately connected in parallel. A current collector is formed by electrically connecting positive electrodes and the negative electrodes separately. Unit cells are fastened with a non-conductive frame in the direction of stacking. The unit cell with strong structure, high vibration resistance, high shock resistance, and high capacity is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable enlargement, and improve toughness, vibration resistance and impact resistance by sandwiching bundled lug parts by an electric conductor by respectively bundling them by plural sheets after separating the lug parts of metallic materials of positive electrodes and negative electrodes, and welding end parts of the lug parts of the electrodes and the electric conductor together. CONSTITUTION:Negative electrodes and positive electrodes are altenately layered by sandwiching separators 7 between them, and a cell is assembled. In that case, a material by applying an electrode mix only to a single surface is used as both end electrodes, and nonconductive spacers 6 are sandwiched between the respective negative electrodes in lug parts of the left side negative electrodes, and spacers 6 are also sandwiched between the respective positive electrodes in lug parts of the right side positive electrodes so as to be layered on each other. Next, end parts of the lug parts of copper foils of the negative electrodes are bundled by six to seven sheets, and these are sandwiched by two copper metal pieces, and the tips of lug part end parts of the copper foils and the two copper metal pieces are welded together from the tip side of these end parts. Similarly, end parts of the lug parts of positive electrode aluminium foils by superposing six to seven sheets are sandwiched by the two aluminium metal pieces, and the tips of lug part end parts and the two metal pieces are welded together from the tip side of the end parts. Thereby, enlargement becomes possible.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the adhesion between an electrode active material layer and a current collector, and lengthen the battery life by forming an electrode by using a binder to which hydrophilic treatment is performed. SOLUTION: When an electrode for a battery is manufactured by applying slurry prepared by kneading an electrode active material, a binder, if necessary a conductive material together with a solvent to a current collector, the binder to which hydrophilic treatment is performed is used. In the electrode obtained, the adhesion of the active material layer to the current collector is increased, and the peeling off of the active material from the current collector during handling such as winding can be prevented. The life of a battery is remarkably lengthened. The hydrophilic treatment of the binder is preferable to be performed in the fluorine-containing atmosphere.

The metal faces 10, 13 and an electrolyte in the unit cells are separated, a refrigerant is fed to the metal faces 10, 13 to extract the heat accumulated in the unit cells at the time of a charge and a discharge, the temperature rise in the unit cells is prevented, and electricity is extracted through the current collector.

The conductors (8: negative, 11: positive) are arranged on one face side of the unit cell (preferably on the upper face of the unit cell) for both the positive electrode and negative electrode.
