CONSTITUTION:A liq. reactant is introduced from the liq. reactant inlet pipe 6 as shown by the arrow (p), a chemical is injected from a chemical feeder 9 through a chemical injection pipe 8, hence the liq. reactant reacts with the chemical in the main reaction vessel 1, and the reaction product is discharged from a liq. reactant outlet pipe 7 as shown by the arrow (q), In this case, the liq. mixture of the liq. reactant introduced from the inlet pipe 6 and consisting of service water, etc., and the chemical proceeds as the spiral flow called the cyclonic flow as shown by the arrow (s). In this case, the spiral flow is successively cut by protecting tubes 2a-4a contg. UV lamps 2-4. As a result, a regular Karman vortex K is successively generated around the protecting tubes 2a-4a. By this method, extremely uniform mixing and uniform light irradiation are simultaneously carried out, the light irradiation is uniformized, and the reaction is uniformly promoted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control effectively the generation of algae at low cost by using an agent adding means attached, combinedly to a water reservoir for water stored in the water reservoir, circulating the stored water by a water circulating means and operating intermittently the water circulating means for a short time by a control means. SOLUTION: Copper sulfate of given amount is added into a pool 2 by an agent adding means 4, and then a water circulating means 3 is operated based on a set operation pattern by a control means 4. When the given operation pattern is set, stored water W is circulated for a short time by the proper circulating operation of a circulating pump 7 and then the stored water remains for a long time. Thus the copper ion concentration gradient in the stored water W becomes small by the circulation for a short time and the remaining for a long time, and copper ions are in existence uniformly around spores of algae, by which the selective ingestion of nutritive elements and copper ions by the spores is impossible and the simultaneous ingestion of both is performed to generate the cell destruction of spores of algae and control the generation and proliferation of algae.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a hair collector which is capable of extremely efficiently capturing the fibrous foreign matter in water and preventing the degradation in performance, trouble, etc., of a water feed pump generated by suction of the large-sized foreign matter into the water feed pump, facilitates maintenance of the device and is inexpensively produced. CONSTITUTION:This fair collector 1 is freely attachably and detachably mounted with a hair collecting brush 3 between an inflow port 7 and outflow port 8 of a cylindrical housing container 2. The hair collecting brush to which plural filamentary bodies 16 radially arranged on a shaft body 15 are fixed is formed to a circular columnar shape as a whole. This shaft body 15 is formed by holding the filamentary bodies between two pieces of metal wires and twisting these metal wires to a double spiral form so that the filamentary bodies are arranged in superposition on each other with successive mispositioning in a vertical direction as well in the state of spreading radially in a horizontal direction according to the twists of the metal wires. The hair collecting brush forms a capturing part 17 where the filamentary bodies form a truncated circular cone shape near the inflow port. A band ring 11 for capturing having an L shape in section is fixed near to the bottom of the capturing part.
