After the complete freezing and solidification of the popsicle, the freezing tube is immersed in a hot water bath 9 to melt only the surface of the popsicle, and the popsicle 1 is extracted from the tube 3. The popsicle is suspended to an endless belt conveyor 10, and lowered and inserted between a pair of rotating emboss rolls 12 and 12a having embossing surface patterns 13 and 13a to effect the embossing. The rolls 12, 12a are rotated reversely to lift the popsicle. The popsicle released from the embossing rolls is returned to the ordinary popsicle preparation process.
