摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce working hours and prevent the generation of layer short by reducing short-circuitting work between segments and the manhours of bonding. SOLUTION: A segment metal fittings 2 is constituted by arranging 2n-number (n is an integer larger than or equal to 2) of segments in a cylindrical type. Respective facing segments 3 are mutually short-circuitted inside the segment metal member 2, thereby manufacturing a commutator 1 for a motor. In this case, short-circuit members 4, in which bonding parts 6 bonded to two facing segments and connection parts 5 connecting the bonding parts 6 are integrally constituted in an unified body, are formed. The short-circuit members 4 are bonded to the inside of the segment metal fittings 2.

SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is for a stator case of a motor rotatably incorporating a rotor R. Engagement recessed and projecting edges 2a, 2b for engagement in rounding a flat sheet 1 on both ends of the flat sheet 1 in a cylindrical form are punched to prescribed lengths, respectively. By engaging the engagement recessed and projecting edges 2a, 2b on both the ends to round the flat sheet 1, a cylindrical outer case 3 is formed. An inner case 4 is pressed into the outer case 3, and a magnet 5 is fixed on the inside of the inner case 4.

SOLUTION: A rectifier 1 is divided into six segments 3, and the confronting segments 3 and 3 are shorted by shorting members 4 arranged in the rectifier 1. Shorting members 4 are constituted of conductive materials and they are integrally formed of a pair of junction parts, which are protrusively provided on the upper end parts of the two confronting segments 3 and a band-like connection part connecting the junction parts. Since the shorting members 4 which short the oppositely faced segments 3 and 3 are arranged on the inner side of the segments 3, the confronting segments 3 and 3 can be short circuited in the segments 3. It is not necessary to linearly process a stretch line outside the rectifier 1, and the shorting members 4 are bent/worked. Then, the shorting members 4 are prevented from being brought into contact with one another between segment blocks.

After that, the inner surface of the ring part 7 of the cooling fan 2 is put onto the outer surface of the fan fixing metal pressure fitting 3, and retaining nails 6 provided on the fan fixing metal fitting 3 are folded to retain the cooling fan 2 with the ring part 7 to fix the cooling fan 2.
