    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element driven by using vertical interleave reading and pixel summation altogether that uniformizes pixel gravity center distributions and average exposure times by each color so as to improve the color reproducibility.
SOLUTION: When the solid-state imaging element with color filters of the Bayer arrangement images a moving picture, pixels of reading objects are selected so that pixels interleavingly read in the vertical direction are selected not to be adjacent to each other and the distances between the pixel gravity centers added with 2 or more B pixels and pixel gravity centers added with 2 or more R pixels are arranged at an equal interval. Further, the solid-state imaging element is provided with read gates respectively independently of other systems driven to pixels of the read object within n (n is 4 or over) pixel periods.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of acquiring signal electric charges for configuring a plurality of video images having different lightness through a single exposure processing.
SOLUTION: Each vertical transfer section 2 mixes a prescribed number of signal electric charges generated by pixels 1 in the same color consecutive to each other in the vertical direction, a horizontal transfer section 3 mixes the signal electric charges, mixed by each vertical transfer section 2 and produced from the pixels 1 in the same color, consecutive to each other in a horizontal direction to generate the signal electric charges with a plurality of kinds of number of mixtures, the signal electric charges obtained by the horizontal transfer section 3 through mixing are outputted to a circuit externally connected and the horizontal transfer section 3 produces the signal electric charges of the plurality of kinds of number of mixtures so as to be arranged periodically in the horizontal transfer section 3.

SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup device is provided with a plurality of photoelectric transducers disposed in the shape of matrix, a plurality of vertical transfer parts each of which reads and vertically transfers an electric charge out of a photoelectric transducer belonging to a corresponding column, a horizontal transfer part for performing horizontal transfer, a charge detecting part for converting out a horizontally transferred charge into a signal voltage or the like, and a control part. The control part outputs a signal for either finding a signal corresponding to the sum of charges of the photoelectric transducers belonging to one column, belonging to rows selected at the interval of one row, belonging to one of columns adjacent to said column and belonging to rows except for the selected row, or finding a signal corresponding to the sum of charges of photoelectric transducers belonging to the same column for each of the predetermined even continuous rows of photoelectric transducers. • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable oscillation output when an external synchronizing signal is not inputted. CONSTITUTION:This PLL circuit is provided with an internal synchronizing control voltage supplying means 20 for impressing voltage corresponding to an almost intermediate level between high and low logical levels instead of the control voltage of a voltage control type oscillator 14 when an external input synchronizing signal does not exist. Since the intermediate voltage is impressed to the oscillator 14 instead of the control voltage when the signal (a) is not inputted, almost the same oscillation condition is applied at the time of external synchronizing operation and stable oscillation can be attained. The existence of the signal (a) is detected by an external synchronizing pulse detecting circuit, the frequency-divided waveform of a frequency divider 15 is switched so as to make it a pulse string with a duty ratio '1' and the output of the frequency divider 15 is applied instead of the control voltage of the oscillator 14.
