    • PURPOSE:To rectilinearly or steppedly shift a thermal power from a minimum flow rate to a maximum flow rate, by a method wherein the minimum necessary flow rate of a burner is ensured by an electromagnetic valve on the side where an orifice is located, and the other electromagnetic valve is repeatedly opened and closed through the working of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Raw gas, flowing out from a main plug 10, is fed through a piping 12 to be maintained in a specified gas pressure by means of a governor 13, and flows through a branch pipe 14 to an electromagnetic valve 15 which is operative when there is a low flow rate. An orifice 17, located to the outlet of the electromagnetic valve 15, is adapted to feed a flow rate with low calorie. The gas is exhausted through a nozzle 20 by means of a collection pipe 19. Air conditioning is effected by a damper 21, the gas is fed through the burner port of a burner 22, the gas is ignited by means of a plug 23 and high pressure spark, and the thermal electromotive force of a thermoelement 24 is sensed by a microcomputer. The minimum necessary flow rate of the burner is ensured by an electromagnetic valve 15 on the side where the orifice 17 is located, the other electromagnetic valve 16 is repeatedly opened and closed by the microcomputer, and this rectiliearly or steppedly controls a thermal power from minimum calorie to maximum calorie.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce production of NOx, by a method wherein partitions, respectively limiting the supply of the air to each burner, are respectively mounted to combustion chambers. CONSTITUTION:The air, required and sufficient for combustion, is sucked through an air suction part 6 by means of gas injected to a mixture pipe 3 through a nozzle 4, and is burnt in a burner part (a flame port part) 5. The burner part 5 performs combustion in a combustion chamber 1 which is constituted entirely airtightly except an exhaust gas exhaust part. Plural burners are located in the combustion chamber 1, and a partition 2 is situated in the combustion chamber corresponding to each burner. The partition 2 serves to individually completely partition the burners 5 from each other so that one combustion chamber has one burner. By means of the partition 2, the flow of the air from the outside through a part except the air suction part 6 is shut off, and individual and independent combustion is effected by the burner, and this, even when a gas amount is desired to be throttled or the plural burners are operated in a flickering manner, prevents increase of an NOx amount, resulting in provision of excellent combustion.

    • PURPOSE:To ignite surely and burn safely by a method wherein a preheating means for activation of catalyzer, which continues preheating only for a fixed period of time by means of a time constant circuit, and a thermocouple which maintains a gas supply solenoid valve in the open state by being heatee with a pilot burner. CONSTITUTION:With the operation of an operating knob 2, a solenoid valve 3 is open and simultaneously a solenoid valve 10 is started to be kept opening for the time during which the discharge of a capacitor 12 comes to an end. The opening of the solenoid valve 10 causes to burn a catalyzer mat 6, the pilot burner 7 and a preheating burner 9. When the discharge of the capacitor 12 comes to an end, the solenoid valve 10 is closed to stop the burning of the preheating burner 9. After that the stationary operation is established. Because the thermocouple 8 is fully heated by the pilot burner 7, the solenoid valve 8 is kept opening for long period. If by any chance the pilot burner 7 goes out, the solenoid valve 3 is closed to stop the whole burnings or to act as fail-safe.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a burner having a small number of constituent parts and eliminating gas leakage by forming a projection on the bottom surface of a case having a burning portion in the upper portion, the projection thereof constitutes a mixture pipe and is covered with a lid member and arranging a nozzle on an extension of the projection aside of the case. CONSTITUTION:On the bottom surface of a case having a burning portion 4 in the upper portion thereof, there is formed a projection constituting a part of a mixture pipe 2 and a lid member 3 is put over the projection. A gas injection nozzle 1 is arranged on an extension of the projection aside of the case. The gas injected from the nozzle 1 is mixed with the air within the tapered spae defined by the mixture pipe 2 and the lid member 3. The gas mixture ascends to the burning portion 4. According to this invention, since the mixture pipe 2 is connected to the lid member 3 by means of an integral element, such unfavorable phenomenon can be effectively prevented that a part of mixture leaks out from an interval between the mixture pipe 2 and the lid member 3 to mix with injected gas and further with intake primary air and returns inside of the burner and escapes to the external through other portion than the burning portion.

    • PURPOSE:To increase radiation efficiency and improve quick heating effect by forming V-shaped grooves on the surface of a burner plate of heat resisting ceramics and piercing flame holes on the bottom of the grooves except for the points where the grooves intersect. CONSTITUTION:The V-shaped grooves 8 are formed on the surface of a burner plate 7 which is mainly made of almina and silica and a number of flame holes 10 are pierced on the bottom of the grooves 8 except for the points 9 where the grooves intersect. Gas mixture burns at the flame holes 10. The V-shaped groove 8 has a temperature retaining effect and therefore the flame does not ascends but heats the sloping surface of the groove 8. Since the flame holes are spaced from their adjacent ones, the flame does not interfere each other. The supply of the secondary air is very stable. The apexes formed by the grooves 8 are thin and have a small heat capacity and further easy to heat by the surrounding flames from the flame holes 10. Thus the quick heating effect can be remarkably improved.
