    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the excellent operation feeling after installing a device on a printed board by soldering a part of a metal plate cover, whose front surface is plated by soldering and whose back surface is not plated. SOLUTION: A switch 12 is placed on a printed wiring board 9 coated with the solder 10 on a land pattern thereof, and it is heated so as to melt the solder 10. Since solder plating is performed to the surface of a cover 11, surface of grounding terminal parts 11C, 11D provided in a side surface of the cover 11 are soldered to land patterns 9A, 9E by the solder 10 so that the switch 12 is securely installed in the printed wiring board 9. Since the back surface of the cover 11 is not plated, a rugged part due to the solidification of the solder is not generated, and since the top surface do not hinder the sliding of a slider, which pressure-contacts with the back surface of the cover 11, excellent operation feeling of the switch 12 can be maintained after soldering the switch 12 to the printed wiring board 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device which enables a reliable and smooth switching operation with respect to a switching device used in various types of electronic equipment.
      SOLUTION: By providing depressed areas 15A, 15B in sloping portions 14B, 14C of a movable cam 14, in every switching operation, a lubricant agent 9 that has been pushed to both ends of the sloping portions 14B, 14C, transfers from the depressed areas 15A, 15B to sliding surfaces of a fixed cam 2 and movable cam 14. The switching operation is practiced, therefore, with the sliding surfaces invariably coated with the lubricant agent to permit the cams to be prevented from being worn away, thus enabling a switching device performing the reliable and smooth switching operation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switchgear to be used for various electronic equipment, having noise suppressing effects and good operability.
      SOLUTION: A protruded portion 13A on the outer periphery of a movable body 13 is inserted into a case 15. A guide groove portion 15A is provided for holding the movable body 13 movably in the axial direction, and a bent portion 15B extending inward of a groove is formed in the guide groove portion 15A. During switching operation before/after the front end of a movable cam 14 elastically contacts a protruded portion 2A of a fixed cam 2, the end of the protruded portion 13A of the movable body 13 abuts on the bent portion 15B of the guide groove portion 15A and the protruded portion 13A guided by the bent portion 15B abuts on the guide groove portion 15A. Thus, the switchgear prevents sounds of collision between the protruded portion 13A and the guide groove portion 15A, and has noise suppressing effects during switching operation and good operability.
