摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that there is a possibility of discharging wash water of high temperature to the private parts of a human body in a sanitary washing device using an instantaneous heat exchanger, wherein the temperature of wash water may be excessively heated by the response delay of a temperature detecting means caused by the sudden temperature rise of the wash water in the case of keeping the wash water warm until starting to use it. SOLUTION: An environmental condition detecting means 4 is provided for detecting surrounding environmental conditions around the sanitary washing device, and after performing preliminary heating operation of once applying a current to an electric heater, pulse current is applied to the electric heater based on the conditions detected by the environmental condition detecting means 4. The unit 7 is composed of a warm water tank 1 where the warm water is stored, a warm water heater 5, a thermistor 6, a heat-sensitive plate 8 for conducting heat of the heater 5 to the thermistor 6, and a control circuit 4 for controlling the heater 5. The heat of the heater 5 is conducted to the thermistor 6 via the plate 8 without reference to the attitude of the unit 7 in a case where there is no water in the tank 1, in order to detect an abnormal rise in surface temperature of the heater 5 before the burnout of the unit 7.
