      SOLUTION: This plasma display panel is provided with: a front substrate 1 with display electrodes 5 formed thereon; a back plate 8 with address electrodes 10 formed thereon; dielectric layers 6 and 11 covering the electrodes 5 and 8; and barrier ribs 12. At least one selected from the dielectric layers 6 and 11, and the barrier ribs 12 contains oxide glass. When it is assumed that the total of content rates of other elements excluding oxygen (O) is 100 atom%, the oxide glass satisfies a composition range of 55-85 atomic% of B, 0-15 atomic% of Si, 0-15 atomic% of Zn, 0-10 atomic% of K, 0-10 atomic% of Na, 1-10 atomic% of Bi, 5-30 atomic% of Si+Zn, 1-10 atomic% of K+Na, and 8-15 atomic% of K+Na+Bi.
