    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe inner surface polishing device capable of improving air permeability in a pipe body during polishing.SOLUTION: A polishing section 12 mounted in a shaft section 11 comprises a contact surface 122c which is brought into contact with an inner surface of a pipe body 2 so as to perform polishing. The contact surface 122c radially displaces in relation to the shaft section 11 by centrifugal force generated accompanying rotation of the shaft section 11 and is brought into contact with the inner surface of the pipe body 2. A ventilation-enabled ventilation passage A along a direction parallel to the shaft section 11 is formed between a rotation locus of an outer surface of the shaft section 11 and a rotation locus of the contact surface 122c. Ventilation can be performed along the direction parallel to the shaft section 11 via the ventilation passage A, thereby improving air permeability in the pipe body 2 during polishing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction or failure of a device; and to improve efficiency of polishing.SOLUTION: The polishing device includes a support device 1 having a roller 2 capable of supporting a straight pipe like tube p and a roller driving device 3, and a polishing machine 10 adjoining the support device 1. In the polishing machine 10, a support shaft 12 is supported so as to freely rotate around an axis on a base 11, a rotary grinding wheel 13 is provided on an axial front end of the support shaft 12, and a driving device 14 is connected to a rear end. The support device 1 is disposed in a polishing booth 20 composed by a partition member 21 separating the inside and outside, and the base 11 is disposed outside the polishing booth 20 and can move along a tube axis direction of the tube p.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position a protruded portion forming material welded to the outer peripheral face of a spigot of a metal pipe, in the axial direction of the spigot.
      SOLUTION: The spigot 42 of the cast iron pipe 41 has an outer peripheral groove 43 formed wider than the protruded portion forming material 44 so that the protruded portion forming material 44 is pressed on the bottom of the outer peripheral groove 43 by a pressing roller 5. On the one-end side of the pressing roller 5, a large-diameter stepped portion 5a is provided for abutting on the side end face on the single side of the protruded portion forming material 44. A pushing-against means is provided using the large-diameter stepped portion 5a of the pressing roller 5 for pushing the protruded portion forming material 44 against the side wall on the one-end side of the outer peripheral groove 43. Thus, the protruded portion forming material 44 to be welded to the outer peripheral face of the spigot 42 of the cast iron pipe 41 can be accurately positioned in the axial direction of the spigot 42.
