By scanning an outer circumferential surface of each photoreceptor drum with a light beam by a light beam scanning device 30, an image is plotted. Image data inputted in a controller of the light beam scanning device 30 is corrected so as to be linear in a transfer part B on the basis of the image distortion caused by bending of the photoreceptor drums 10y, 10m and 10c in a correction circuit.
