摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure chamber which allows smooth opening/closing operation of a door, and adequately achieves sealing by means of a packing.
SOLUTION: The pressure chamber 1 is formed of an opening 3 formed in a chamber wall 2, the door 10 for sliding along the inside of the chamber wall 2 to open/close the opening 3, and the packing 5 for making intimate contact with both the chamber wall 2 and the door 10 to seal the opening 3. The pressure chamber is used at an internal pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure. Herein when the door 10 slides to a location inside the opening 3, it is guided so as to be also displaced in a direction at right angles to a surface (door surface) and to approach to the chamber wall 2, and supported in a manner movable toward the chamber wall 2 in the direction at right angles to the surface at the location inside the opening 3.
