    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a blade accurately and readily, while securing the rigidity of a protruded body at the end part of a milling-cutter.
      SOLUTION: The milling-cutter 10 has, on the outer peripheral face between opposite ends of a cylindrical body 11, a spirally shaped protruded body 13 formed by lathing out at least one thread of spiral groove 12, a cutout part 16 formed by cutting out the protruded body in roughly an axial direction at a plurality of sections in the longitudinal direction of the protruded body, and a chip 17 which is detachably fitted to the cutout part and has a cutter blade projecting from the outer peripheral face of the body. Linear parts 14 extending at rightangle to the center axis are provided at plural sections in the longitudinal direction of the protruded body. The cutout sections are provided on the forward side in the rotation direction of the body in the linear parts.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade capable of improving bending rigidity of the entire cutting blade while reducing the thickness of the blade to reduce the quantity of a blade material.SOLUTION: The blade 21 is an approximately 0.5 mm thick, nearly rectangular, elongated and plastically deformable thin sheet having a base material comprising a steel material, a cemented carbide or a steel material whose cutting edge alone is made of cemented carbide. Since use of costly materials can be reduced, costs of the blade 21 are reduced. A relief angle from a flank face 21b of the blade 21 is 0°. A prescribed region including a cutting edge of a cutting face 21d of the blade 21 is coated with a hard chromium nitride film 22. The blade 21 is mounted to a mounting groove 13 on a tool body 11 to be bent in a direction opposite to the rotating direction. Since twist angles of both edge surface 11a, 11b sides of the blade 21 are positive and negative, the depth of the blade 21 is secured in a circumferential direction, and the bending rigidity of the blade 21 can be improved more than the bending rigidity of the blade 21 itself that is not bent.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutting tool which can raise the flexural rigidity of an entire blade, even if the blade is thin.SOLUTION: A cutter head 10 for woodwork is provided with attachment grooves 13 at four locations along the outer perimeter of a body 11 in the circumferential direction. The attachment grooves 13 are slightly curved outward in the direction opposite from the rotary direction R of the body 11, and opposing sides of the body 11 are symmetrical in shape. A blade 21 and a pressing fitting 24 are mounted to each attachment groove 13. The blades 21 are made of steel or cemented carbide, and are elastically deformable long, thin plates having a substantially rectangular shape with a thickness of approximately 0.5 mm. These blades are fixed to curve in an arc shape in the direction opposite from the rotary direction R and match the shape of the attachment groove 13. A twist angle, which is the inclination angle of the outer circumferential surface of the body 11 of the cutting blade 21c with respect to the mandrel, is a negative twist angle that varies in curve at one end surface 11a side of the body 11, and is a positive twist angle that varies in curve at the other end surface 11b side.
