摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer from flowing during retort treatment by using a composition in which the copolymer and a polyamide resin are blended in a specified ratio as the outermost layer and laminating a thermoplastic resin of low moisture permeability as an inner layer. SOLUTION: A composition in which an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) containing 20-50 mole % of an ethylene monomer unit and a polyamide resin (PA) are blended is used as the outermost layer of a multilayer packaging body having good gas barrier properties, and a thermoplastic resin of low moisture permeability is laminated as an inner layer. The weight ratio of EVOH to PA is adjusted to be 55-97:45-3. When the content of PA is low, defects in the appearance of the packaging body such as wavy wrinkles and a pattern tend to appear by retort treatment. When the content of PA is high, the gas barrier properties are deteriorated, and whiteness remains when the packaging body is stored after the retort treatment. In this way, EVOH is prevented from flowing during the retort treatment.

CONSTITUTION:A resin composition is obtained by mixing: 100 pts.wt. mixture of a polyolefin (a), preferably a PP resin or a PE resin, and a saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (b) having an MI (determined at 190 deg.C under a load of 2160g) of at least 0.1g/10min, an ethylene content of 20-65 mol%, and a degree of saponification of the vinyl acetate component of at least 96% at a weight ratio of (a) to (b) of (60:40) to (99.9:0.1); 0.1-150 pts.wt. inorganic material (c) selected from titanium oxide, talc, calcium carbonate, mica, and a water-absorptive inorganic material: and at least 0.3 pt.wt. saponified ethylene/ vinyl acetate copolymer (d) having an MI of at least 0.1g/10min, an ethylene content of 68-98mol%, and a degree of saponification of the vinyl acetate component of at least 20%.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a resin compsn. which, when melt molded, prevents a wave pattern from occurring on the surface of the resulting molded item by forming a specific compsn. contg. a polyolefin and a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer poorly compatible therewith. CONSTITUTION: The compsn. comprises a polyolefin (A), at least one compd. (C) selected from among 8-22C higher fatty acid metal salts, metal salts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, and hydrotalcite, and a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (D) having an ethylene content of 68-98mol% and a degree of saponification of vinyl acetate units of 20% or higher and is further compounded with a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (B) having an ethylene content of 20-65mol% and a degree of saponification of vinyl acetate units of 96% or higher before being used. Desired results are effectively obtd. esp. when a premixture of ingredient A with ingredients C and D is mixed with ingredient B and then melt molded. The compounding ratio of ingredient A to ingredient B is usually (60:40)-(99.9:0.1).

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the compatibility of polyolefin with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer saponified material (EVOH) and the long-run properties of extrusion molding and to obtain a multilayer structure having a layer of a composition of these materials and being excellent in color tone, by mixing the polyolefin, the EVOH and a prescribed amount of hydrotalcite compound. CONSTITUTION:A hydrotalcite compound of 0.0001 to 10 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. in total of polyolefin and EVOH is mixed therewith. The polyolefin includes also denatured polyolefin, and polypropylene, in particular, is inferior in the compatibility with the EVOH. Therefore, the effect of this method is conspicuous. It is suitable also for the EVOH of 20 to 50mol% for an ethylene unit and for the one of a saponification degree of 96mol% for a vinyl acetate unit. This EVOH is excellent in gas barrier properties and an excellent vessel can be obtained by compounding it with the polyolefin. As for a method for multilayer molding, co-extrusion molding or the like can be applied and a multilayer structure having no extraneous substance due to phase separation and being excellent in hue and external appearance can be obtained.

Further, as polyolefin exampled for the thermoplastic resin, high-density, medium-density or low-density polyethylene, vinyl acetate, ester acrylate or the like is used. Thus, the structure having beautiful appearance with no wave pattern as well as favorable gas barrier properties can be obtained.
