    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a color correction method for allowing adjustment of gray balance or a color shift which are incident to initialization and variation with time of an image output device, and replacement of a consumable material with an accuracy desired by a user just by means of a visual estimation without using a measurement instrument or an image input device by the user. SOLUTION: The color adjustment method outputs a first primary color chart which is obtained by an image recording apparatus using predetermined gradation data of the first primary color and a chart which is obtained by fixing the gradation data of the first primary color and varying gradation data of a second and a third primary colors respectively, acquires a reference density correction value by comparing the first primary chart with a first primary color reference chart in which the first primary density is varied, acquires a gray balance correction value by comparing a gray reference chart corresponding to the reference density correction value with the outputted chart, thereby performing color adjustment of the image recording apparatus with the reference density correction value and gray balance correction value.
