    • PURPOSE: To form the commodity having flanges at both end parts in short time easily by grasping a raw material by a medium die and by forging the flange with the rolling reduction of the projecting part of the raw material projecting to the upper die and lower die arranged up and down of the medium die.
      CONSTITUTION: The medium die 10 of a split pattern structure free in elasticity in the diameter direction having an inclined outer peripheral face 10A and body part forming part 10B and the lower die 11 having a flange forming part 11B are set onto a fixed base 12. A raw material 13 is inserted into the body part forming part 10B so as to project up and down and the upper die 14 having an inclined inner peripheral face and the flange forming part 10B is fitted to the medium die 10. The medium die 10 is contracted to the inner part of the diameter direction via the inclined outer peripheral face 10A and the inclined inner peripheral face with the rolling reduction of the upper die 14 to the lower part and the material 13 is grapsed with the body part forming part 10B. Then the fixed base 12 is removed with the condition of the upper die 14 and lower die 11 being combined and transferred to a forging forming part, and without turning over the upper die 14 and lower die 11 the projecting part of the up and down of the material 13 is subjected to a rolling reduction simultaneously or each one part, forged at the flange forming parts 11b, 14B and a commodity 20 having flanges 18, 19 is made.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the dimension accuracy and productivity by forging simultaneously a forming surface for controlling a length of head part, and both front and rear sides through a roughly triangular wall-shaped projection, and also forming the head part by recessing and providing a notch on the center lower part and the bottom face.
      CONSTITUTION: A forging tool 22 of the lower position is provided on a receiving surface 21b of a receiving base 21 fixed to a bed or a floor surface, and also the forging tool 22 of the upper position is made to contact along a vertical guide surface 21a and charged. In this state, the forging tool 22 of the upper position is put by a tool manipulator 32 and a base material of an oblique line part is forged and worked. The tool 22 controls a height and a length of the head part as required and executes forging through pressure of a press by a forming surface 22a. Also, a triangular wall-shaped projection 22 provided in the center of the forming surface 22a forms a triangular groove-shaped notch. Accorcing to this method, the dimension accuracy of a throw material is improved, and also the productivity is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To form a projected hub easily on the periphery of both sides of a disk by installing a rotating table to a tongue of a manipulator and placing it vertically between upper and lower anvils and pressing a blank by holding and rotating it with the rotating table. CONSTITUTION:Fittings 2 for a rotating table are fixed to a pair of manipulator tongues 1 with pins 3, and the rotating table 9 is installed to a front board 4 of the fittings 2 for the rotation table to allow rotation. The rotation table 9 has a diameter that corresponds to the diameter of the central plate of a forged product. A disk-shaped blank (m) is held by the rotation plate 9 so that it becomes perpendicular to upper and lower anvils. The disk-shaped blank (m) is pressed using upper and lower anvils. At the same time, the manipulator is moved forward and backward, and the disk-shaped blank (m) is brought into contact with the lower anvil by its movement in one direction, and intermittent rotation of the blank in a fixed direction is caused by friction. The periphery of the blank (m) protruded from the rotating table 9 forms a hub around the rotating table 9 successively, and a forged product of specified shape and dimension is formed.
