      SOLUTION: The picker device 10 of the sewing machine restrains the rotation of the bobbin B which is rotatably mounted inside a shuttle by moving a shaft member 1 and making a distal end part 2a of a damper part 2, elastically supported to the distal end 1a side of the shaft member 1 via a coil spring 3, abut to the bobbin B. The picker device 10 has an E ring 5 for limiting the movement of the damper part 2 at the proximal end part 1b of the shaft member 1. Accordingly, even if the shaft member 1 is brought too close to the bobbin B, the rear end part 2b of the damper part 2 abuts to the E ring 5, and therefore, a locking member 4 disposed at the distal end part 1a of the shaft member 1 does not project from the distal end 2a side of the damper part 2.

Then, when the end portion 41 of the grease tube 32 is directly inserted in the opening 32, the edge of the end portion 41 coincides with the surrounding face 34 without a space therebetween. Therefore, the grease can be easily applied between the needle bar 22 and the needle bar bushing 23 without concern about leak of the grease through the opening 32.
