    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an exhaust gas treatment device compact.SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas treatment device 100, filtration type dust collectors 4 are installed at both sides of an activated carbon absorption tower 1 and partition walls 50 are formed by integrating side faces 10a of a main body 10 of the activated carbon absorption tower 1 with the side faces 42a of housings 42 of the filtration type dust collectors 4. Upper sections of the partition walls 50 are provided with communication ports 54 which communicate the main body 10 of the activated carbon absorption tower 1 with the housings 42 of the filtration type dust collectors 4. The activated carbon absorption tower 1 has activated carbon cartridges 2 installed therein and a clean gas pipe 3 connected thereto through an exhaust pipe on a bottom face of the main body 10. The filtration type dust collectors 4 have a polluted gas pipe 5 connected thereto through hoppers 8 below the same. The clean gas pipe 3 and the polluted gas pipe 5 are arranged in a space below the activated carbon absorption tower 1 and lateral to the filtration type dust collectors 4. The activated carbon cartridges 2 can be replaced through an opening section 11 of the main body 10. Thus, this configuration can make the exhaust gas treatment device 100 compact.
