摘要： PURPOSE:To form a recording pit without secondary distortion on a disk by calculating a laser drive current at an optional radial position and ambient temperature based on a data of a laser drive current at the optimum recording obtained at plural measured positions on the magneto-optical disk. CONSTITUTION:The data for the optimum laser light control by the standard disk and the standard magneto-optical disk device is stored in a standard data ROM1. When a disk is recorded by the disk device at first, the optimum drive current is obtained by repeating the recording/reproduction while the drive current is being changed to obtain an output of optimum laser light at several position with different radio on the disk 12, and the ambient temperature and the disk radius position are stored in a computer 4. The control data is generated from the measurement data and the standard data and stored in a control data NVR16. The control data is used to estimate a required drive current at positions other than the measuring positions and the laser light control is attained depending on the radius position of the disk 12 and the ambient temperature.

摘要： PURPOSE:To consecutively reproduce plural events at random without joints by providing a magneto-optical head use for erasure/reproduction and a magneto-optical head used for recording/reproduction so as to specify the arrangement thereby attaining the overwrite of a real time signal. When the 2nd magneto-optical head 3b is placed at the head of the sector address SA' conversely, the 1st magneto-optical head 3a is placed at the head of the rear gap SG2 in the gaps SG1, SG2 before and after the sector address SA' of the other sector S. Thus, the disk having preceding recording has a new signal in nearly real time immediately and events are reproduced consecutively without timewise section at random one after another at the reproduction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the seek time substantially by providing a 1st head with a narrow seek range but fast seek speed and a 2nd head with a slow seek speed but wide seek range. CONSTITUTION:Since a small mass such as an objective lens 2a or a built-in galvano mirror is moved for write as the 1st head,a time to seek sectors is sufficiently short. While the 1st head 2 applies write to a concentric track forming area 9, and 2nd head 3 seeks the area 9, a signal recorded by the 1st head 2 is read and written and copied into spiral track forming areas 10, 11 by the 2nd head 2 having a long seek time, and the 2nd head 3 is sought again into the area 9 to erase undesired signals already copied. The operation above is repeated. Thus, the high speed seek to the magneto-optical disk is attained substantially.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make the S/N ratio of a reproducing signal excellent and to reduce the distortion of waveform by previously setting the radius of an optical disk which rotates at a constant angular velocity and an optimum duty ratio in an environmental temperature and controlling a recording signal. CONSTITUTION:Data on the optimum duty ratio corresponding to the position of radius in each environmental temperature under which the optical disk device is used is previously obtained and stored in a ROM 11. The environmental temperature at the time of recording and the position of the radius of the disk are detected by a temperature sensor 9 and a disk radius position sensor 7 and transferred to a CPU 5 through A/D converters 8 and 10. According to the transferred data, the CPU 5 reads out the duty ratio in which the distortion of waveform is minimum from the ROM 11 and inputs it in a comparator 2. An output from the comparator 2 is inputted in a duty ratio detection circuit 3 and the detection output from the circuit 3 is supplied to the CPU 5, where it is compared with the data on the duty ratio from the ROM 11, and the compared result is returned to the comparator 2 to control the duty ratio. The duty ratio of the actual recording signal is controlled to be equal to the optimum value, whereas the S/N ratio of the reproducing signal is made excellent.

The actuators 4 and 5 are supported by brackets extending from the fixed optical systems A and B, respectively, and perform a focusing or a tracking function by moving the objective lens. In such a way, it is possible to perform the recording with high density.

A sub laser beam SL generated for detecting the tilt of the light disk is guided with a sub optical system 55 and condensed at defocus on the signal face 12 through the objective lens 25 while being superimposed with the main laser beam ML. A returning laser beam SL' reflected on the signal face 12 is guided with the sub optical system 55 and condensed on a tetrameric photodetector 60 for detecting the tilt of the light disk with a condensor lens 54. In the case that the optical disk 1 is tilted based on the optical axis of the objective lens 25 looking toward the radial direction, a deviation in the returning laser beam SL' occurs, a difference appears between the total receiving amount of the photodetectors A and D of the tetrameric photodetector 60 and the total receiving amount of the photodetectors B and C, thus a tilt detection signal looking toward the radial direction is made from the output of the light detection of the tetrameric photodetector 60.
