      SOLUTION: The power transmission device having at least the fluid joint 2 between an engine E and a transmission T/M, the transmission T/M being capable of performing manual sequential shift operation in addition to automatic speed change, a slip determination means for determining whether the difference between the rotating speed of the engine E and the turbine rotating speed of the fluid joint is a set value or more in the sequential shift operation, and also whether the state with the set value or more is continued for a set time or more. When the determination by the slip determination means is affirmative, shift-down control of automatic transmission is performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a parking lock device installed on a transmission without changing a structure of the transmission which becomes a base, and to make the parking lock device compact. SOLUTION: A first coupling member 11 is spline-fitted with a rear end portion of an output shaft 1 of the transmission and fixed by a fixing nut 5, and a second coupling member 12 is integrally united with the first coupling member 11. Continuous recessed/projecting portion 22C is formed on an outer periphery of the first coupling member 11. In a parking lock state, a claw portion 31A of a parking pole 31 disposed in a lower part is engaged with the recessed/projecting portion 11C. The parking lock device is attached to the rear end porion of the output shaft 1, it is not necessary to change the base part of the transmission when attaching. The second coupling member is provided with an expanding shaft portion 12C formed in the same shape as the rear end portion of the output shaft 1, so that a common coupling joint 13 continuing to a propeller shaft of a vehicle can be used regardless the presence/absence of attachment of the parking lock device.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a parking lock device attached to a transmission compact, to shorten the axial length of a transmission, and to attach the parking lock device without changing the structure of the transmission which becomes a base.
      SOLUTION: A parking gear is fixed to an output shaft of the transmission. At the time of parking lock, a claw portion 21A of a parking pole 21 is engaged with the parking gear. An operating mechanism of the parking pole 21 fixes a main lever 25A to a parking operation shaft 25 rotating according to the operation of a driver, and couples a wedge cam 23 loosely fitted with a follow lever 24 and moving the parking pole 21 to the follow lever 24. Both levers are coupled by a spring fitted in the parking operation shaft 25. Therefore, in the parking lock device, the axial length of the transmission becomes short, and the parking lock device can be attached without changing a base structure of the transmission.
